Lost Dogs Press Release
***FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE***

Michael Roe, Terry Scott Taylor, Derri Daugherty and Steve Hindalong have stood the test of time. Each, in their own right, brings richness and depth to the music they write, play and record together. What started out as a “one-off” project in the early ‘90’s between different artists with bands of their own has turned into a serious and enduring endeavor for a band called the Lost Dogs.

Terry Scott Taylor (vocals, acoustic guitar) is the frontman for Daniel Amos and Swirling Eddies. Daniel Amos recorded its first album in 1976. Since that time, in addition to being the chief lyricist and lead singer for DA, Taylor has become one of music industries’ most respected producers and prolific songwriters . As a producer, Taylor has worked with artists like Crystal Lewis, Randy Stonehill, and Starflyer and his music has found its way into musicals, video games, motion pictures and cartoons, the most recent being Catscratch on Nickelodeon.

Michael Roe (vocals, lead guitar) is the all-things-to-all men guitarist/vocalist for the rootsy, collaborative Lost Dogs along with Taylor, Derri Daugherty and Steve Hindalong. This past year Roe has been busy producing a number of artists and is in the process of writing his next solo album, along with an upcoming 77's gospel blues album. Regardless of the hat he is wearing Michael Roe has, over the course of his 28 years as a national recording artist, delivered well-crafted songs and lyrics to his audience. Roe also is in high demand as a producer and session player.

Derri Daugherty (vocals, bass), along with Steve Hindalong, founded the band Youth Choir in 1981 and eventually changed their name to The Choir. Their series of modern yet classic worship albums “At the Foot of the Cross” are credited with sparking the “Modern Worship” phenomenon that still dominates the Christian music scene. The Choir earned a Grammy Nomination for Best Rock Gospel Album in 2002 for their independently released Flap Your Wings. With the City on a Hill series of four albums completed, and some precious time returned to their schedules, the band convened in early 2004 to dream up the concept and vision for a new album. The resulting work is already earning favorable comparisons to the bands seminal late 80s sets Circle Slide and Chase the Kangaroo, and the band couldn’t be happier.

Steve Hindalong (percussion, background vocals) has become one of the most well respected producers in Nashville based on his work with several artists on his City on a Hill project for which he received numerous awards. That collection of songs included the Dove Award-winning "God of Wonders" (Song of the Year), co-written by Hindalong and Marc Byrd. "God of Wonders" was used by NASA to wake up astronauts on the space shuttle.

The Lost Dogs have been collaborating for a number of years and each year brings them more recognition and critical acclaim. The Dogs have recently been invited to open for George Jones, Dierks Bentley, Delbert McClinton and Weird Al. The Dogs’ most recent release entitled The Lost Cabin and the Mystery Trees, is being heralded as the best recording since Gift Horse, which was the final album Gene Eugene (of Adam Again and former member of the Lost Dogs) worked on before his untimely death in 2000.
